Email to Fax Software Vs Web Services
There are software applications that enable you to send and receive faxes from or to your email, such as Rightfax, GFIFax Maker or Mighty Fax. However, these software involve a considerable expense and they might not give you the flexibility and cost efficiency you are looking for. In fact, if you own a small business the use of these software might not be most cost effective way of sending and receiving faxes.
On the other hand there are simple software applications that you can download for free, and through the use of a web based fax service provider you can send emails to a fax, faxes to an email, or faxes to another fax, with one distinctive advantage: you can do this anywhere in the world.
The use of internet faxing services is growing in popularity at a staggering rate, and the reason for this phenomena is intimately linked to low cost and convenience, both distinctive characteristics of almost every email to fax web based service.
One of the features considered as “very convenient” by many is the fact that most of the internet fax providers offer the option of using their services for free for up to 30 days.
This is particularly important when you are among those who have never used an internet faxing service before, and therefore, you cannot be 100% sure it is right for you or your business until you “see with your own eyes”.
On the other hand, the fact that in some cases you will not even have to install a software in order to send an email to a fax and vice versa, makes it all the more appealing if you want to avoid tech related complications.
Furthermore, a web based fax service will spare you the need for a phone line, because usually you will have a toll free number included as part of the service (this varies from one provider to another), so this obviously adds to the convenience and savings.
